Lacta-Fort is also used to prevent fatigue after a long travel. Giving 1 bag of Lacta-Fort 3 hours before a long trip will avoid muscle rigidity at arrival.

Treatment for 10 days (when used as a cure) Lacta-Fort is usually used the night before the show (1 sachet) and the on competition days again 1 sachet about 4 hours before the test. It can also be used as a treatment; instead of letting the veterinarian inject the horse against acidification, one administers 1 sachet during 5 days and a half sachet during 10 days.
